Where do you feel longing? In the pull of your arms, the twist of your spine, the pulse in your chest? Or does it live in the stretch, in the effort to become bigger than yourself, to reach what you cannot yet touch? Longing lives inside our body, it’s what drives us forward, but if we’re not careful, it can push us beyond our limits.

So Long is a raw and poetic dance-theatre performance that explores longing as both a life force and a potential downfall. Through movement and voice, the performers reveal what happens when wanting becomes something the body can no longer hold.

Created by Kitty Relleke in collaboration with Modern Bruises, So Long brings dance and theatre together in an intimate, human way. It reflects on our deep need to connect and to feel in a fast, divided world.
